B.R.A.S.C.O began with the realisation of a shared dream: to bring together our passions for surf culture, music, the creativity of the city and the connections between people who move between these cultures..

The first B.R.A.S.C.O store opened four years ago in Haarlem, shaped by a love for the ocean and coastal living. From the beginning, our focus has been on thoughtful products, timeless design, and creating a space that feels natural — a place to gather.

Surfing is at the heart of B.R.A.S.C.O, but it’s only part of the picture. We find inspiration in small rituals — music on vinyl, good coffee, early mornings, changing tides, city streets, and the steady rhythm of daily life. Everything we do is guided by connection: between function and style, movement and stillness, ocean and city.

This year, B.R.A.S.C.O took a small but meaningful step with the opening of a second shop on the beach in Wijk aan Zee, our hometown. It brings us closer to the environment that continues to shape our perspective, and gives us more space to do what we’ve always done—share time, ideas, and experiences with a close-knit community.

B.R.A.S.C.O is built slowly, with intention. For those who find clarity in the water, creativity in the city, and meaning somewhere in between.
